Welcome back to the MOB News blog.
Last week was a good showing in Wenatchee at Tastebuds. Thanks to RLS and Tastebuds for having me. It is nice to mix in some solo/acoustic shows with the band and guitar ones once in awhile.
Tomorrow, April 19th, Jesse James and the MOB is back at the Easy Monkey Taphouse in Shoreline. It is going to be a great show. We almost always have a special guest show up. This time Cody Bartels of the Evergreen Playboys will be doing some tunes with us. I’ve done one show with Mr. Cody and it was fantastic (Photos on IG from Adri).
Cody does some of the great classic country stuff, from George Jones to Hank Jr. He also plays a lot of Merle, which I can appreciate. I should do an interview with Cody and a write up on him to post soon.
I hope to see folks tomorrow at the Easy Monkey. Show starts at 8pm. They have beer on tap, usually a cider. They also have really good food. The mac and cheese is spectacular and the poutine is great as well.
