Last weekend was a lot of fun. First of all, thank you to everyone who came out to the Easy Monkey on Friday to support the band. As always, the food was delicious thanks to Sean, and well worth the trip.
We lit up the stage in an attempt to make it more conducive to taking video. The endeavor was a success. Adri managed to capture a bunch of the show, along with some set cameras and Gopro footage.
The only issue is that I didn’t turn on one of the guitar microphones and we are missing audio for one track. Unfortunately it was the guitar amp that Cody Bartels was using when he sat in with us.
Speaking of which, thanks so much to Cody for coming out. It was a great round of tunes. We did some classic country and some of Cody’s original music.
Sunday night we went down to Peabo’s to see Nick Mardon (his birthday was last week). I did not realize that the date also marked 7 years of Peabo’s Sunday Night Music (Congrats!) and also coincided with the Washington State Blues Society BB Awards. Congrats to all the winners including Scotty Harris and Eric Rice.
Hopefully I will be able to post photos and videos soon.
If you have not checked it out, there is a solo video on Youtube as of Friday. Adri put it together herself and did a great job.
This week I’ll be playing solo at Patterson Cellars in Leavenworth.
Next week in Oregon and Walla Walla with Cody and Sunday at Peabo’s. Check the calendar for more info. Hope to see you there.
